COMMENTS BY PRESS SECRETARY TO THE SENIOR MINISTER - CALL ON SENIOR MINISTER GOH CHOK TONG BY PROFESSOR LOTHAR SPÄTH, CO-CHAIRMAN OF THE GERMAN-SINGAPORE BUSINESS FORUM
 

            Professor Lothar Späth, Co-Chairman of the German-Singapore Business Forum, together with a German business delegation, called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong at the Istana this afternoon. Professor Späth is a former Minister-President of the State of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. At Professor Späth’s request, Senior Minister Goh briefed the delegation on recent developments in Asia, especially ASEAN, China and India. Senior Minister Goh and Professor Späth also exchanged views on how Asia and Europe could further strengthen economic cooperation.
