Inauguration of Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Oct 2019)

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited Jakarta, Indonesia, from 19 to 20 October 2019 to attend the inauguration of His Excellency Joko Widodo for a second term as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Prime Minister Lee personally offered his congratulations to President Joko Widodo. Prime Minister Lee also reaffirmed Singapore’s commitment to further strengthen the existing excellent bilateral relationship, including through the various areas of cooperation discussed at the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat on 8 October 2019.
