Visit by Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Nov 2018

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev, who was on a working visit to Singapore from 20 to 21 November 2018, called on and was hosted to lunch by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 21 November 2018. PM Lee thanked PM Sagintayev for Kazakhstan’s strong support for the successful conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Singapore and the Eurasian Economic Union, which will promote regional trade and investment linkages once finalised. Both leaders also witnessed the exchange of the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments Agreement, as well as the Mutual Exemption of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic, Service or Official Passports Agreement.
