On behalf of the Government of Singapore, I would like to warmly congratulate you on your elevation to the post of Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Singapore and New Zealand have a deep and longstanding friendship. As small and open economies, we are natural partners with a convergence of strategic interests. Our two countries enjoy multi-faceted cooperation, and have also worked well together at regional and international fora.
