12th Asia-Europe Meeting Summit and EU-ASEAN Leaders' Meeting - Oct 2018

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited Brussels, Belgium from 18 to 19 October 2018 to attend the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit and the ASEAN-EU Leaders' Meeting.

On the sidelines of the ASEM Summit, PM Lee also signed the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (EUSFTA) with President of the European Council Donald Tusk, President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, and Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. Austria is the current president of the EU Council.

PM Lee also held bilateral meetings with the leaders of Croatia, Finland, Germany, Japan, Poland, Portugal and the UK.
