Investiture of the National Awards (COVID-19) at ITE College Central on 18 June 2023.

 

The National Awards (COVID-19) are special state awards given to individuals and teams from the public, private and people sectors in recognition of their public spirit and outstanding contributions to Singapore’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 18 June 2023, President Halimah Yacob presented the National Awards (COVID-19) to over 100 individuals and 450 teams in five award categories: Meritorious Service Medal (COVID-19), Public Service Star (COVID-19), Public Administration Medal (Gold) (COVID-19), Medal of Valour (COVID-19), and President’s Certificate of Commendation (COVID-19).

The investiture was attended by around 850 people, including Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

COVID-19 Resilience Medal and Certificate

Two new National Awards – the COVID-19 Resilience Medal (CRM) and COVID-19 Resilience Certificate (CRC) – will be awarded to those who have made substantive contributions and participated directly in the fight against COVID-19. More than 100,000 individuals and 1,000 teams from the public, private and people sectors will receive the CRM and CRC.
