Mayor of Barcelona Jordi Hereu i Boher called on Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew at the Istana on 3 September 2010 and presented Minister Mentor with the "Honorary Citizen of Barcelona" award. The award is in recognition of MM’s contributions to improving relations between Singapore and Barcelona.
