Call on SM Goh Chok Tong by Egyptian Minister of Investment Dr Mahmoud Mohieldin

Egyptian Minister of Investment Dr Mahmoud Mohieldin called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong at the Istana this afternoon. Minister Mohieldin is visiting Singapore under the Middle East Eminent Persons Programme, which is jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore and the Middle East Institute of the National University of Singapore. SM Goh and Minister Mohieldin had wide-ranging discussions on relations between the two countries and how both sides could further enhance economic and education cooperation. They also discussed recent developments in Asia and the Middle East.
