Participation by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in the G20 Summit, 3 - 4 November 2011

         Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the G20 Summit in Cannes, France, from 3 - 4 November 2011.  The meeting will discuss current challenges of the global economy and efforts to achieve a strong, sustainable and balanced growth.

2        He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for FinanceTharman Shanmugaratnam, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Monetary Authority of Singapore.  

3        During the absence of the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean will be the Acting Prime Minister.
