Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to attend the APEC CEO Summit and 21st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit from 5 – 7 October 2013 and the 21st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) from 7 – 8 October 2013 in Bali, Indonesia. He will be accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. While in Bali, Prime Minister Lee will also have bilateral meetings with other APEC Leaders.

In the lead up to the AELM, Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang and Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli will be participating in the 25th APEC Ministerial Meeting, taking place from 4 – 5 October 2013 in Bali.

During Prime Minister Lee’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean will be the Acting Prime Minister.
