Visit by Prime Minister of Malta Dr Joseph Muscat from 28 October to 1 November 2014

Prime Minister of Malta Dr Joseph Muscat called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 30 October 2014 at the Istana. PM Muscat is visiting Singapore from 28 October to 1 November 2014.

During their meeting, PM Lee and PM Muscat reaffirmed the good bilateral relations between Singapore and Malta.  They discussed developments in the EU and economic links between the two countries.  PM Muscat reiterated Malta’s support for the early ratification and coming into force of the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.
