Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat will make an official visit to China (Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong) from 7 to 12 April 2024.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng’s visit builds on the positive momentum of high-level exchanges between Singapore and China. It will be a good opportunity for both sides to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, as well as exchange views on regional and international issues.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng will meet senior Central and local leaders in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. Deputy Prime Minister Heng will also engage other personalities from various sectors, as well as visit companies and research institutes.

Deputy Prime Minister Heng will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Research Foundation, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the Prime Minister’s Office.
