PM Lee Hsien Loong to visit Japan (24 to 27 May 2022)

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make a working visit to Tokyo, Japan, from 24 to 27 May 2022 in conjunction with the 27th International Conference on the Future of Asia organised by Nikkei Inc.

 
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make a working visit to Tokyo, Japan, from 24 to 27 May 2022 in conjunction with the 27th International Conference on the Future of Asia organised by Nikkei Inc. The theme of the conference is “Redefining Asia's role in a divided world”.

During the visit, Prime Minister Lee will meet Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, as well as other Japanese political and business leaders. Prime Minister Lee will also deliver a keynote speech at the 27th International Conference on the Future of Asia on 26 May 2022.

Prime Minister Lee will be accompanied by Mrs Lee, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry Dr Tan See Leng, Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information and Minister-in-charge of GovTech and Senior Minister of State for Health Dr Janil Puthucheary, and officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Communications and Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry.

During Prime Minister Lee’s absence, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will be the Acting Prime Minister.
