PM Lee Hsien Loong attends the G20 Riyadh Summit

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the virtual G20 Riyadh Summit scheduled to take place from 2100 hrs on Saturday, 21 November 2020 and from 2030 hrs on Sunday, 22 November 2020.

 

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the virtual G20 Riyadh Summit scheduled to take place from 2100 hrs on Saturday, 21 November 2020 and from 2030 hrs on Sunday, 22 November 2020.

The upcoming Summit, which marks the last official event of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) 2020 G20 Presidency, will be chaired by His Majesty King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Singapore is an invited guest country of the KSA. Other participants include the Leaders of the G20 members and six other invited guests1, the United Nations (UN) Secretary- General and Heads of multilateral organisations.

Discussions will centre on collective efforts to: overcome the COVID-19 pandemic; restore growth and jobs; and build an inclusive, sustainable and resilient future. Prime Minister Lee’s interventions will be circulated to the media upon delivery. Prime Minister Lee will be accompanied by MOF and MFA officials.
