DPM Teo Chee Hean to make Official Visit to Vietnam (March 2019)

Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will make an official visit to Vietnam from 21 to 26 March 2019. 

 

Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will make an official visit to Vietnam from 21 to 26 March 2019. DPM Teo will visit Hanoi from 21-23 March 2019, Hue from 23-24 March 2019, and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) from 24-26 March 2019.

 

DPM Teo will meet several Vietnamese leaders, including Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Vo Van Thuong, HCMC Party Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, and Thua Thien-Hue Party Secretary Le Truong Luu.

 

DPM Teo will launch the Vietnam-Singapore Cooperation Centre, as well as officially open the Singapore Festival in Hanoi and the new chancery of the Singapore Consulate-General in HCMC. DPM Teo will officiate at the unveiling of Mapletree’s V Plaza and opening of Oakwood Residence Saigon, and visit Keppel Land’s Estella Place and Estella Heights. DPM Teo will also meet members of the local business community and the Singapore community in HCMC.   

 

DPM Teo will be accompanied by Members of Parliament Dr Intan Azura Mohktar, Mr Patrick Tay and Mr Henry Kwek, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
