Dear Prime Minister Thongsing,

I was deeply saddened to learn of the Lao Airlines crash near Pakse airport on 16 October 2013.

On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, I offer my condolences to you, the families of the victims and the people of Lao PDR on this tragedy.  Our thoughts are with you and your people during this time of sorrow.
