PM Lee Hsien Loong to visit Idaho and Houston, USA (8-13 July 2010)

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be attending the 28th Sun Valley Conference in Idaho from 8 to 10 July 2010. After the Sun Valley Conference, PM will visit our Peace Carvin V F-15SG fighter detachment at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho on 11 July 2010. Thereafter, PM will make a visit to Houston, Texas on 11 to 13 July 2010.

 

 

 

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be attending the 28th Sun Valley Conference in Idaho from 8 to 10 July 2010. PM will deliver the Conference’s keynote address on 9 July 2010. The Sun Valley Conference, which started in 1983, is an annual conference that brings together leading Chairmen and CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, prominent political figures and personalities from the media, entertainment, philanthropic, cultural and sporting sectors.

After the Sun Valley Conference, PM will visit our Peace Carvin V F-15SG fighter detachment at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho on 11 July 2010. Thereafter, PM will make a visit to Houston, Texas on 11 to 13 July 2010.

In Houston, PM will meet key political and corporate figures. In addition, PM will deliver a speech at a luncheon jointly organised by the Asia Society and the Greater Houston Partnership, and participate in a roundtable discussion with key leaders from the upstream energy and chemicals industries.

PM will be accompanied by Mrs Lee, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Education S. Iswaran, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry.

During PM’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean will be the Acting Prime Minister from 8 to 14 July 2010.
