Appointment of Judicial Commissioners of the Supreme Court (Aug 2009)
Statement from the Prime Minister's Office on the appointment of Judicial Commissioners of the Supreme Court on 19 August 2009.
The President, acting in his discretion in accordance with Article 94(4) of the Constitution, and in concurrence with the advice of the Prime Minister, has appointed the following as Judicial Commissioners of the Supreme Court for a period of one year, with effect from the dates shown :
a. Mr Quentin Loh Sze On , wef 1 September 2009:
b. Mr Steven Chong, wef 1 October 2009 and
c. Dr Philip Pillai, wef 1 October 2009.
