The President has appointed Mr Ng Siew Quan as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) with effect from 1 August 2026.

The President has appointed Mr Ng Siew Quan as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) with effect from 1 August 2026.

The President has appointed Mr Ng Siew Quan as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC) with effect from 1 August 2026, for a five-year term in the first instance.

Mr Ng, 60, was a Partner at PwC Singapore and served as the Corporate Governance Leader and Asia Pacific Leader of the firm’s entrepreneurial and private business arm before retiring in June 2026. Mr Ng is actively involved in the local Chinese community and cultural sphere. He is the Board Chairman of the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Chairman of the Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, First Vice President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Secretary General of the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Chinese Development Assistance Council. Mr Ng was conferred the Public Service Medal in 2022.

Chairman of the PSC Mr Lee Tzu Yang said, “I warmly welcome Mr Ng to the Commission. Mr Ng will bring fresh perspectives and insights to support the PSC's work on appointment and promotion of senior leaders, selection of PSC scholars, and disciplinary matters of civil servants.” On his appointment, Mr Ng said, “I am honoured to have the opportunity to serve on the PSC and look forward to contributing towards this meaningful role.”
