Malaysian Minister of Defence and Acting Minister of Transport Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin bin Tun Hussein called on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 13 February 2014 at the Istana. Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Hussein is in Singapore to attend the Singapore Airshow at the invitation of Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen.
During their meeting, Prime Minister Lee and Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Hussein welcomed the growing cooperation between Singapore and Malaysia. They encouraged further collaboration and exchanges between both sides, particularly in the areas of defence and transport. They also had a wide-ranging discussion on regional and international developments.
