Guangzhou Party Secretary Zhang Guangning called on Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong at the Istana this afternoon. Party Secretary Zhang is in Singapore from 5-8 June 2010 to better understand Singapore's urban, industrial and social development experiences. During the meeting, SM and Party Secretary Zhang discussed opportunities for further collaboration between Singapore and Guangzhou. Party Secretary Zhang updated SM on Guangzhou’s development focus and policies, as well as on the ongoing Knowledge City project in Guangzhou.
