Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Minister Mentor Lee Yew Kuan expressed their sadness at the passing of Mr Chandramohan.
In his condolence letter to Mrs Chandramohan, SM Goh described the late Mr Chandramohan as "the father of Singapore's broadcast journalism" and a mentor to many of today's broadcast journalists and producers.
MM Lee, in his condolence letter, said Mr Chandramohan was "most capable and helped me get my views across, first on radio, then on television, during all the years I was Prime Minister."
