Dear Premier Li

I am saddened to learn of the loss of lives and damage caused by the earthquake that struck Yunnan on 3 August 2014.

I extend our deepest condolences to the Government and people of China.  Singapore stands ready to assist those affected by this tragedy.

Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
