Dear President Aquino,
On behalf of the Government and people of Singapore, I offer my sincere condolences on the loss of lives and destruction caused by Typhoon Pablo. Fortunately, your Government’s preparations and swift relief and rescue efforts averted an even bigger tragedy.
Singapore is prepared to help in any way you find useful. We have deployed a Civil Defence team to Mindanao to participate in the rescue efforts there. Please let me know if we can be of further assistance.
I am confident that, under your leadership, the Philippines will pull together and recover from this natural disaster. Our thoughts are with you and your countrymen during this difficult time.
