Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Trade) Gan Kim Yong will lead the Singapore delegation to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, from 2 to 5 November 2026.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Trade and Industry (Trade) Gan Kim Yong will lead the Singapore delegation to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, from 2 to 5 November 2026.

The theme for CHOGM 2026 is “Accelerating Partnerships and Investment for a Prosperous Commonwealth”. Leaders will review developments in the Commonwealth and discuss shared priorities, including climate resilience, trade, innovation, equality, and sustainable development. DPM Gan will also hold bilateral meetings with other Commonwealth leaders on the sidelines of CHOGM.

DPM Gan will be accompanied by Mrs Gan and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Second Minister for Home Affairs Sim Ann.
