Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat will make a working visit to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region from 28 to 31 August 2022.
DPM Heng will meet Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee, Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan, Financial Secretary Paul Chan, and Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Sun Dong to reaffirm the strong relations between Singapore and Hong Kong and discuss ways to further strengthen cooperation.
DPM Heng will participate in the Policy Dialogue session of the 7th Belt and Road Summit in Hong Kong on 31 August 2022. The theme of this year’s Summit is “Heralding a New Chapter: Collaborate and Innovate”.
DPM Heng will be accompanied by Mrs Heng, and officials from the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
