Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat will make a working visit to Japan from 24 to 28 April 2023.
DPM Heng will meet Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno Hirokazu and Chair of the Japan-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship League and Digital Minister Kono Taro. DPM Heng will also engage senior business leaders and leading research institutions in Japan. In addition, DPM Heng will meet Singaporeans in Tokyo.
DPM Heng will be accompanied by officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Economic Development Board, and Enterprise Singapore.
