OPENING OF THE FIFTEENTH PARLIAMENT OF SINGAPORE

I write to inform you that, when the Fifteenth Parliament first meets on 5 September 2025, the Government will be proposing that Mr Seah Kian Peng be elected as the Speaker of Parliament.

I have also designated Ms Indranee Rajah as the Leader of the House, to coordinate and manage the Government’s parliamentary business.

In discharging her duties, the Leader of the House will be assisted by Zaqy Mohamad, as Deputy Leader of the House.
