Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong received a call by Dr Denis Napthine, Premier of the State of Victoria, Australia, on 20 June 2013. Dr Napthine, who is leading a trade mission to Singapore as part of a regional tour, briefed Prime Minister Lee on developments in Victoria and Victoria’s interest to strengthen its economic links with Asia. They reaffirmed the excellent ties between Singapore and Victoria which have grown significantly in areas such as trade and investment. They agreed to encourage further economic collaboration and explore ways to broaden cooperation.
