Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand is in Singapore on a visit from 14 to 16 August 2013. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee will host Her Royal Highness to lunch on 16 August. While in Singapore, Her Royal Highness will also be hosted to dinner by Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean and meet with Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
Her Royal Highness visited the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College Central earlier today, given her interest in Singapore’s education system and vocational training pathways. While in Singapore, Her Royal Highness will also visit ITE College East, NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, the National Institute of Education, NorthLight School, and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
