Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong was discharged from Singapore General Hospital this morning.
Professor Christopher Cheng, Mr Lee's surgeon, said: "PM's pathology report is good. The disease was small but potentially significant. We are very glad we were able to detect and remove it in time. PM should make a full recovery".
Mr Lee thanks the competent, dedicated, and compassionate team of radiologists, pathologists, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and everyone else who have treated him and helped see him through the operation.
