The Prime Minister and his Cabinet colleagues are sad to learn of the passing away of former Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Dr Goh Keng Swee.

The Prime Minister and his Cabinet colleagues are sad to learn of the passing away of former Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Dr Goh Keng Swee. The late Dr Goh passed away peacefully at his home early this morning.
Dr Goh was a prime architect of modern Singapore. The Government would like to convey our deepest condolences to his family.
The body of the late Dr Goh Keng Swee will lie in state at the Parliament from 20 May to 22 May. The public may pay their last respects during this period. A State Funeral will be held on 23 May 2010. Further details will be announced soon.
As a mark of respect for Dr Goh Keng Swee, the State flag on all Government buildings will be flown at half-mast from 20 May to 23 May.
