SM Lee Hsien Loong to Visit Malaysia (May 2026)

Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong will visit Malaysia (Pahang and Terengganu) from 4 to 8 May 2026. Senior Minister Lee will visit Pahang at the invitation of the Sultan of Pahang, His Royal Highness Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Her Royal Highness the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah. Senior Minister Lee will also travel to Terengganu. Senior Minister Lee’s visit builds on the strong momentum of bilateral exchanges, deepening Singapore’s longstanding and multifaceted ties with Malaysia’s states and their leaders.

In Pahang, Senior Minister Lee will have an audience with the Sultan of Pahang and be hosted to lunch by His Royal Highness. He will also meet Pahang Menteri Besar Dato’ Sri Diraja Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail and other State leaders. In Terengganu, Senior Minister Lee will meet Terengganu Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar and other State leaders.

Senior Minister Lee will be accompanied by Mrs Lee, Minister for Law and Second Minister for Home Affairs Edwin Tong, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Social and Family Development Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim, Member of Parliament Joan Pereira, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
