Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies Tharman Shanmugaratnam will visit Beijing, China, Copenhagen, Denmark, and Helsinki, Finland from 17 to 22 October 2018.
In Beijing, DPM Tharman will meet Vice Premier Liu He and leading officials, and officiate at GIC’s 20th Anniversary on 18 October.
In Copenhagen on 19 to 20 October, DPM Tharman will attend and speak at the inaugural Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) Summit, and also meet leaders in government and the social sector to discuss Danish pension reforms and life-long learning.
On 21 to 22 October, DPM Tharman will visit Helsinki, where he will meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Petteri Orpo and business leaders, as well as visit Finnish education and lifelong learning institutions.
