Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make an official visit to Tokyo, Japan, from 21 to 24 May 2013 in conjunction with the 19th International Conference on "The Future of Asia" organised by Nikkei Inc and the Japan Centre for Economic Research.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will make an official visit to Tokyo, Japan, from 21 to 24 May 2013 in conjunction with the 19th International Conference on "The Future of Asia" organised by Nikkei Inc and the Japan Centre for Economic Research.
During his visit, Prime Minister Lee will meet Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other senior Japanese politicians and business leaders. Prime Minister Lee will also deliver a keynote speech at the Nikkei Conference on 23 May 2013.
Prime Minister Lee will be accompanied by Members of Parliament Zaqy Mohamad and Vikram Nair, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the absence of the Prime Minister, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance and Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade & Industry will be the Acting Prime Minister for the periods 21 to 22 May 2013 and 23 to 24 May 2013 respectively.
