11th Malaysia-Singapore Leaders' Retreat - Jan 2025

Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong made an official visit to Malaysia for the 11th Malaysia-Singapore Leaders’ Retreat on 6 and 7 January 2025, hosted by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

PM Wong remarked that Malaysia and Singapore have made progress on many mutually beneficial projects such as the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone and RTS link. Both countries also made outstanding bilateral issues of water, airspace and maritime boundary delimitation.

PM Wong also had an audience with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia during his visit.
