Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met with the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame on 30 September 2022 at the Istana.

The two leaders had fruitful discussions on the friendly relations between Singapore and Rwanda, including areas of mutual interest and ideas to further strengthen ties. They also reaffirmed the need to continue working together as fellow small states, given current global and regional developments.
