Official Visit by UK Prime Minister David Cameron - Jul 2015

The Right Honourable David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom made an Official Visit to Singapore on 28 to 29 July 2015.

On 29 July 2015, Prime Minister Cameron received a ceremonial welcome at the Istana, followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. PM and Prime Minister Cameron exchanged views on a wide variety of issues, including regional and international developments, countering extremism and radicalisation, the UK’s continued engagement of Asia and ways to strengthen bilateral economic ties.

Following their discussion, the two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Cyber Security Cooperation between the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance (Cabinet Office) of the UK, and held a joint press conference. PM also hosted lunch for Prime Minister Cameron and his delegation at the Istana.
