Singapore-Indonesia Leaders' Retreat - Jun 2025

Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong met Indonesia President Prabowo Subianto for the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat, held in Singapore on 15-16 June 2025. This was the first Leaders’ Retreat by PM Wong and President Prabowo in their current roles.

They reaffirmed the strong and longstanding ties between Singapore and Indonesia, and explored ways to deepen cooperation in key areas such as the green economy and human capital development.

PM Wong and President Prabowo also exchanged views on regional and global developments, and agreed to work closely together within ASEAN and other multilateral platforms to advance their shared interests.
