Singapore-Thailand Leaders' Retreat - Sep 2026

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong concluded his first Singapore-Thailand Leaders’ Retreat with Prime Minister Anutin, and expressed his appreciation for PM Anutin’s friendship and warm hospitality.

Singapore and Thailand enjoy a close and longstanding partnership, underpinned by decades of trust and strong ties between both governments and peoples. The Retreat provided an opportunity for both sides to deepen these ties, including through closer engagement among Ministers, and to exchange views candidly on how the partnership can remain strong and relevant amid a changing global environment.

The Singapore-Thailand relationship has made significant progress over the years, with further scope to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. PM Wong looks forward to welcoming PM Anutin to Singapore for the next Leaders’ Retreat, and to working closely with him to take bilateral relations to greater heights.
