Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong welcomed Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay to Singapore on 18 September 2024.

Singapore and Bhutan share a warm friendship too, underpinned by our strong people-to-people ties. Both countries also share many common interests as small states, including a shared commitment to sustainability. Both Prime Ministers had a good discussion on developments in various areas like carbon credits, skills development and healthcare.
