His Excellency Phankham Viphavanh, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, made an Official Visit to Singapore from 27 to 28 September 2022, at the invitation of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. This is PM Phankham’s first Official Visit to Singapore.

PM Phankham received a ceremonial welcome at the Istana, and called on PM Lee on 28 September 2022. The two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of several bilateral agreements that will establish a dialogue mechanism between the two Foreign Ministries, and deepen cooperation in the energy, environment, and digital domains.
