Visit by Malaysian King Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar - May 2024

His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, met Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on 6 May 2024. The Sultan received a ceremonial welcome and had a call with PM Lee. This is the Sultan’s first overseas State Visit.

The Sultan was hosted to a tour of the Parliament Chambers and observed Parliamentary proceedings. He was also briefed on how the Thomson-East Coast line connects with the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS Link).
