Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong visited India from 2-4 September 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi.
During his visit, PM Wong called on the President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu.
PM Wong also met with PM Modi. The leaders discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
Following their meeting, the PMs held a Joint Press Conference, where they announced the Roadmap for the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP). The leaders also witnessed the exchange of five Memoranda of Understanding and virtually inaugurated the opening of PSA Mumbai (Bharatiya Mbau Container Terminal). PM Modi also hosted a Banquet Lunch in PM Wong’s honour.
